Our campus was completely flooded! What began as a tropical storm warning became Hurricane Fiona, which made landfall in Puerto Rico on September 18, 2022. With a flooded campus, no water and no electricity, our team immediately began working with the most vulnerable and their families. We distributed about 4,700 meals all around P.R. In addition, we were able to provide household appliances such as: washing machines, refrigerators, dining sets, mattresses, essential goods, generators, clothes, shoes, adult diapers, under-pads, water, canned food, milk, bedding, towels, among others. We helped in the restoration of homes with cleaning and humanitarian aid. Grateful to all the people, volunteers and entities that donated to us and made it possible. Gracias!
We're reimagining what it means to be a non-profit. Every donation to The Happy Givers becomes healthy meals, safer homes, brand new jobs, and seeds for the harvest. Whether you buy a t-shirt or send us a monetary gift, know that it helps real people with real needs. Our goal is also to help those around us by being a LOCAL non-profit, led by local leaders, empowered by our local store. There's still much to accomplish, and that's where you come in.
All we need now is your generosity!
Every dollar sent will become healthy meals, job training and job creation, actual seeds for the harvest, and materials for home rebuilding.
When you shop at the happy givers store you both support our local business and empower our local team (while donating to our local community).
Hosting you will be our joy! We love it when people visit, work hard and sweat, cook with our team, smile big, and enjoy the beaches in our town. Don’t miss out.
